Last night we bought our tickets to Cancun. I am so very excited. We are going in May. It will be our first vacation in about two years because of all the getting ready for the CPA exam stuff.
Our little Emma will have a passport and everything soon. It makes my heart smile she is really growing up. LOL

5 month report
Emma turned 5 months old yesterday. To celebrate we gave her baby food for the first time. It was homemade with lots of love from her mommy. It was yellow squash and she liked it very much. I think she liked it even more than the cereal we have been feeding her. I can see why though because you know I had to taste it and it tasted like cardboard.
She has started to love playing with the rolly thing on her exersaucer. She has figured out how to promptly roll to her back when we put her down for tummy time. She isn't very fond of tummy time.
She reached out for someone for the first time on new years eve. It was ME!! I was so excited.
She has started reaching for things on the table so we are having to really watch her when we hold her while we eat our food. We try not to do this much anyway so there have been no major mishaps yet.
My boss took us all out for lunch and drinks yesterday and she tricked him into giving her some chocolate cake. He couldn't resist her smiles and sweet noises she is making now. We both kept our mouths shut about the cake. We decided long ago that we didn't want our child to have any "refined" sugar until 1 year old. I know we are crunchy. We also decided we would not be so anal about it that we yelled at someone if they didn't know. And Emma christined him later on in the meal with a pee pee leak through her diaper. LOL
